Why are schematics locked in Fortnite: Save the World?

If items in your Armory have a lock icon on their preview, this means that the schematic is locked. This usually happens when your Armory is full. 

You can clear space in your Armory by recycling items or you can expand your Armory by buying Armory Slots.
