How do I unlock Gadgets in Fortnite Save the World?

Starting v39.00, Gadgets and Tools no longer require Upgrade Points - they now unlock and upgrade automatically as your Commander Level rises.

To unlock Gadget slotting and receive the first levels of Airstrike and Adrenaline Rush, you need to complete the Stonewood Storm Shield Defense 3 mission.
