Why can't I load Save the World on Nintendo Switch 2?

Some players are reporting that Save the World is presenting issues when launching it on Nintendo Switch 2 such as receiving an error code 2162-0101. Some are stating that they get a "download" message when selecting the game mode.

This should be resolved by now and you will be prompted to download the latest update from the eShop on your next launch of Save the World.
