How do I change the external account I have linked to my Epic Games account?

If you are looking to change the external account connected to your Epic Games account, follow the steps below:

If the account you are changing is a console account (PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox) please follow How do I change the console account I have connected to my Epic Games account? instead of the steps below. For all other external accounts, continue to the next step.
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- A computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
Open a browser (in incognito mode if possible) on your computer or mobile device and go to www.epicgames.com
On the top-right of the site, click the Sign in button

Note: If you do not see a Sign in button, click the avatar at the top of the screen and click Sign Out to ensure you are not signed into the wrong account. Once signed out, click the Sign in button.
Login with the Epic Games account that you used for the linking of the console
Once logged in, click your avatar and select Account from the list that appears
On the left panel of the Account screen, click APPS & ACCOUNTS
Locate the account you want to remove and click REMOVE (For this example, we will be removing a Google account)
It will show a warning that if you unlink the account, you will no longer be able to use this account to sign in to your Epic Games account
Click REMOVE ACCOUNT
Once the process finishes, you will see a message that the account was removed
