What is Fortnite Festival Battle Stage?

Fortnite Festival Battle Stage is a new PvP mode where players compete against each other across a four-song set list. The last one standing wins. Public Battle Stage matches start with 16 players. In Private matches, you can play Battle Stage with your own setlist and party of up to four.

Each player will battle to earn the highest score on randomly chosen songs from Festival’s feature rotation. All players will play the same track, but you’ll get the select your song part and difficulty. Owned Jam Tracks cannot be selected to ensure no one player has an advantage. The four players with the lowest scores at the end of each song will be eliminated.

During the match, you can launch attacks toward your opponent to slow their scoring or break their streak by playing Overdrive parts. The more Overdrive you hold, the longer your attack with be. Launching attacks at your opponents can throw your rivals off while benefiting your own score.
