Why can't I talk to Kai in LEGO Fortnite?

We are aware of a bug where the button to interact with Kai flickers, preventing players from starting a dialog in LEGO Fortnite. This happens when trying to talk to Kai outside of the Shatter Spawn event. Our team is working to fix it in a future game update.

Keep in mind that the quest line can only be progressed during the Shatter Spawn event. If you're trying to complete the quest to defeat the Shatter Spawn, you will need to wait until the event is active again.
