What are the rules for creating my display name?

Here at Epic Games, we want to foster a healthy and fun community. We expect our players to follow our Community Guidelines (Wordt geopend op een nieuw tabblad).

When creating your display name, it must adhere to the following rules:

• Your display name must be between 3 and 16 characters.
• Your display name can't contain any of the following:
  • Vulgarity, hate speech, offensive or derogatory language of any kind
  • Direct references to any Epic Games employee, product, service, or character
  • Private Personal Information (Phone numbers, addresses, real names, etc.) 

If your display name is considered within in violation of our guidelines it might be automatically reset to a random one in the future or not accepted at all.
