I tried to take a clip in Rocket League and got a “Clip Failed” message

Try completely closing the game and relaunching it. Sometimes clipping can fail if the game has been open for a long time.

Clipping can fail if your game console’s gallery is too full. Free up some space in your console’s gallery and try again.

On Xbox, if you have changed your ‘Capture & Share’ preferences away from the default settings, your clips may fail.

To allow clipping, change these settings back to default:

• Allow Game Captures -> Captures by me or games
• Automatically upload -> Captures by me
