Why are there orange notes on easy mode in Rock Band 4?

You may notice orange notes appearing on Easy and Medium difficulties. This is expected behavior.

Orange notes are included as part of the updated song design to keep gameplay engaging across all difficulty levels. They help players gradually adjust to higher difficulty modes.

You can turn on No Fail Mode to practice without failing a song.
