How do I play my electronic drum kit in Rock Band 4?

You can use an electronic drum kit (e-kit) in Rock Band 4 if it supports MIDI output. This includes the ION Rock Band Drum Rockers and most MIDI-compatible drum kits.

What you need

Xbox One

• An Xbox 360 Rock Band 3 MadCatz MIDI Pro Adapter
• A PDP Wired Legacy Adapter

Connect your electronic drum kit using both adapters to play in Rock Band 4.

Note: The PDP Wired Legacy Adapter does not support other wired Xbox 360 instruments, such as older music game controllers or Rock Band (1) instruments.

PlayStation 4

• A PlayStation 3 Rock Band 3 MadCatz MIDI Pro Adapter

Connect your electronic drum kit using the adapter to play in Rock Band 4.

Your electronic drum kit will only work within the game and not in console menus.
