Unable to sign in to profile on PlayStation 4 with a legacy music controller in Rock Band 4

If you are using a legacy music game controller with Rock Band 4, you must sign in to your PlayStation Network account before launching the game.

1. Sign in to your PlayStation Network account on your console.
2. Start Rock Band 4.

If you try to sign in after the game has already started, you may be signed in as a Guest instead.

If this happens, close the game and restart it after signing in to your account.

Note: This behavior only applies when using legacy music game controllers.
