Why can’t I customize some licensed vehicles in Rocket League?

Some licensed items will have restrictions that may vary from other licensed items.

• Some licensed items can only be equipped on their associated licensed cars that they were purchased with.

• Some licensed Items can be customized with non-branded items.

• Previously unlocked content may also have these restrictions.

Here are some examples:

• Nissan Skyline cannot equip Cobra Kai Decal, but the Octane car can

• Nissan Skyline can equip Nissan Z Wheels

• Nissan Skyline cannot equip Ferrari 296 GTB Wheels

• Octane can equip both Nissan Z Wheels and Nissan Skyline Wheels, but cannot equip Ferrari 296 GTB Wheels
