How to Enable Easy Anti-Cheat for Rocket League

Rocket League can be launched with Easy Anti-Cheat on and off.

Once you’ve decided if you want to run the game via Steam or Epic Games, review the details below for each platform:

Running Rocket League through Steam

Every time you run Rocket League through Steam, you will be prompted to choose if you want to run the game with or without Easy Anti-Cheat.

If you check the box to not show this again, the system will retain the setting you have chosen with each next game launch.

Running Rocket League through Epic Games

Epic Games will always launch Rocket League with Easy Anti-Cheat enabled. If you don't have Easy Anti-Cheat installed on your machine, you will see a warning pop-up in-game that Easy Anti-Cheat is not enabled and be asked if you'd like to view instructions on how to enable EAC.

To launch Rocket League without Easy Anti-Cheat, follow the steps below:

Open the Epic Games Launcher.
Find the Rocket League tile in your Epic Games Library.
Click the three dots on the right side of the game line.
Select Launch without EAC.

If the steps above to not work, you can try the following:

Open the Epic Games Launcher.
Open the Library.
Click the three dots next to Rocket League.
Click Manage.
Under 'Launch options' type: -noeac
If you want to launch Rocket League with Easy Anti-Cheat in the future, you will have to remove this text manually
Launch Rocket League, it should launch without Easy Anti-Cheat.
