What are matchmaking bans in Rocket League Sideswipe?

Matchmaking bans encourage players to stay in their matches. Players get a matchmaking ban when they leave a competitive or casual match early without forfeiting or rejoining.

The first ban is 2 minutes. Leaving a match within the next 12 hours will result in another ban.  Bans will get longer for each match left.
