Why can’t I update Rocket League Sideswipe?

In Season 17, Sideswipe moved to the Epic Games Store (Opens in a new tab). You will need to download the Epic Games Store app on your mobile devices and download the latest version of Sideswipe there. On October 10, 2024, players attempting to use previous versions of Sideswipe won’t be able to play. 

For iOS players in the European Union, Japan, and Brazil, and Android players worldwide:

1. Visit the Epic Games Store (Opens in a new tab) website from your mobile device

2. Click Install in the top right corner

3. Open the Epic Games Store app

4. Log in using your Epic Games account

5. Download the latest version of Sideswipe

If you are getting an error while trying to update on Android, try these steps:

1. Navigate to your phone's settings

2. Navigate to Apps or Applications (this can vary based on your phone) to see the full list of installed applications on your phone

3. Find Sideswipe on the list

4. Uninstall Sideswipe

5. Navigate back to the Epic Games application

6. Install Sideswipe using the Epic Games application
