How do I attach a file to my Epic Games Support request?

At times, Epic Games Support will request that you send specific files to assist with your request.  Once you have an open support request, you can send the file(s) through My Requests, email, or live chat. Files cannot be sent while chatting with the Epic Support Assistant.

Please do not ZIP or RAR your files, as we cannot accept these file types, and do not send links to external file-sharing services. We accept files in the most common formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, PDF, NFO, TXT, XML, MP4, MPEG, LOG, DMP, HEIC. A maximum of 5 files per message and a total size of 9.5 MB are allowed.

For more information on how to capture screenshots or videos, please follow the instructions in: How do I capture screenshots and video clips for Epic support?

Via My Requests

You can upload a file to send it as an attachment from the My Requests page, accessible when you're logged in to your account on the Epic Games website, by (1) clicking on the envelope at top right corner next to your display name or (2) by clicking on your display name and selecting My Requests from the list.

locations to access My Requests

After locating your request, simply find the file on your device and either drag and drop it to the indicated upload box or click Select file to open a search window.

When replying to a support request directly from your email address's inbox, you must locate the Attach files button. Usually, this is the icon of a paper clip, as illustrated.

This will also open a search window/redirect you to locate the file within your device.
