How to stay signed into the Epic Games Launcher

If you are automatically signed out every time you close the Epic Games Launcher, follow the steps below to stay signed in.

Note: These steps only apply if you sign in using your Epic Games account email and password.

Sign in and enable the “Remember me” option

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Select Sign in with email.
3. Enter the email address for your Epic Games account, then select Continue.
4. Check the box next to 'Remember me in games and apps that use Epic Games to sign in (optional)'.
5. Enter your password.
6. Sign in to your account.

If you are still signed out automatically

If the issue continues after following the steps above, try the workaround below.

1. On your PC, open a web browser and go to Epic Games account sign-in (Opens in a new tab).
2. Under Played on PC or mobile?, enter your Epic Games account email address.
3. After signing in, sign out of the website.
4. Fully close the Epic Games Launcher:
   1. Select the chevron (^) icon in the lower-right corner of your screen.
   2. Right-click the Epic Games icon.
   3. Select Exit.
5. Select the Windows search bar and type Epic Games Launcher.
6. Right-click the app and select Run as administrator.
7. Repeat the sign-in steps at the top of this page.
