“Windows Kernel modification detected.” error in BattlEye

This means you're either using an unauthorized version of Windows or you have previously installed software that disables certain important security features of Windows. Unfortunately, we cannot support systems that run a modified Windows kernel.

To solve this, check your system files for corruption and try to repair them following these guides from Microsoft:

• Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files (Opens in a new tab)
• Fix Windows Update errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool (Opens in a new tab)

If these guides don't work, you'll need to perform a full reinstall of Windows using a legitimate copy.
