How do I clear the Launcher cache on PC?

Clearing the cache can resolve display issues or errors that prevent the Epic Games Launcher or games from working correctly.

On PC:

  1. In the lower right corner, click the arrow pointing up (the chevron)

  2. Right-click on the Epic Games icon 

  3. Select Exit

  4. Press Windows + R to open a run window

  5. Type %localappdata%

  6. Press Enter to open File Explorer

  7. Open the EpicGamesLauncher folder

  8. Open the Saved folder

  9. Delete the following folders (if they appear):

    • webcache

    • webcache_4147

    • webcache_4430

On Mac:

  1. Exit the Epic Games Launcher

  2. Open Finder

  3. Click on Go then Go to Folder...

  4. Type "~/Library/Caches/com.epicgames.EpicGamesLauncher" and press Enter

  5. Drag the webcache folder to the Trash

  6. Press Control and click Trash

  7. Click Empty Trash

  8. Relaunch the Epic Games Launcher
