How do I transfer Grand Theft Auto V save data from old PC to new PC?

You may follow the steps below to transfer Grand Theft Auto V save data:

On your old PC:

  1. Press the Windows key and tap the R key, this will open a run window

  2. Copy and paste the following file path into the field:
    %USERPROFILE%DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA VProfiles

  3. Press the Enter key, this will open File Explorer

  4. Copy the folder found in this window to an external storage (such as USB thumb drive)

On your new PC:

  1. Press the Windows key and tap the R key, this will open a run window

  2. Copy and paste the following file path into the field:
    %USERPROFILE%DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA VProfiles

  3. Press the Enter key, this will open File Explorer

  4. Paste the folder that you copied previously to this path, from your external storage.

  5. Launch Grand Theft Auto V and load the save data.
