How to Fix Launch Error: "Easy Anti-cheat is not installed" when accessing Fortnite

  1. Open Epic Games Launcher.
  2. Find Fortnite, click the three dots, and select Manage.
  3. Click Open Install Location to access the Fortnite directory.
  4. Find Easy Anti-Cheat by navigating to FortniteGame > Binaries > Win64 > EasyAntiCheat.
  5. Right-click EasyAntiCheat, choose Create Shortcut and move it back to the folder if needed.
  6. Right-click the shortcut, select Properties and add "repair" (with a space) to the Target field. Click OK.
  7. Double-click the shortcut and select Allow Changes.
  8. Open Fortnite to verify the fix.
