Xbox controller not working in Fortnite
If you are playing Fortnite on an Xbox and your controller is not responding to certain actions, such as using your D-Pad, opening the map, or changing your weapons, you may need to clear your Xbox cache.
To clear your Xbox cache follow these steps:
- Turn off your Xbox One or Series S/X and unplug it.
- Unplug all accessories connected to the console
- Leave the console unplugged for two minutes.
- Press and hold the power button while the console is unplugged.
- Reconnect the power cord.
- Turn on your Xbox One or Series S/X.
- Start Fortnite.
