"Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address" ucrtbase error

This error occurs after the launcher update to version 16.0.0 when the installation process fails, it can cause a crash, resulting in the "Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address" with the inclusion of ucrtbase in the error. 

To fix this issue, repair the Epic Games Launcher:

1. Visit: www.epicgames.com (Відкриється в новій вкладці) 
2. Click on the blue Download button in the top right corner. 
3. Once the download has completed run the file.
4. Click on the Repair button.

If you don't get the repair button, you had an earlier version that is now being updated.
