How to Change Your Support-A-Creator Creator Code

Where can I change my Creator Code?

You can now change your Creator Code without contacting Player Support, through the Support-a-Creator tools on the Epic Account Management page. 

Start by visiting the Support-A-Creator portal’s Settings page, where you’ll see a link redirecting you to the Epic Account Management page. 

Or you can navigate to the Epic Account Management page directly, via epicgames.com, by clicking the Profile in the top right corner, selecting Account, and then select the Support-a-Creator tab. 

From there, you’ll find instructions to enter your desired new Creator Code and check that it’s available. If it meets all the requirements listed and is available, you can lock it in right there. 

Note: Changing your Creator Code results in losing all current followers. They will have to re-follow you by using your new Creator Code.

Creator Code requirements

Your requested Creator Code must meet the following requirements: 

• Must be a minimum of 3 characters
• Must be a maximum of 16 characters
• Must only contain alphanumeric characters, underscore (_), dash (-), or dot (.)
• Must not contain only repetitive characters (e.g., AAA or BBB) 
• Must be all lowercase
• Must reflect Display Name or Social Media handle
• Must be consistent with the Epic Games - Community Rules

How often can I change my Creator Code?

After your Creator Code has been generated, you will only be able to change it once during any 12-month period.
