Paragon’s First Exhibition Tournament

Wondering how you can qualify for the first official Paragon tournament? Here is all the information that you’ll need to know about the summer Exhibition event.

Four teams – two from the North American qualifier, one from the Eastern European qualifier, and one from the Western European qualifier – will qualify to compete in the $15,000 Paragon Exhibition tournament. The Exhibition event will be held during the week of August 2 - August 6, near Epic’s headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. Matches for the event will be broadcast on Paragon’s official Twitch, YouTube and Facebook channels from August 4 - 6.

The qualifiers will be hosted by community Tournament Organizers and Epic Games will work with them to reach out to teams that qualify for the Exhibition event.

Team Eligibility

  • Teams must consist of 5 players from the countries eligible for participation.
    • Teams are required one substitute player.
    • A participant can only be a substitute for one team.
  • A team and its players can only participate in one qualifier.

    • North America
    • European Union
    • United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway
    • Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan

North American Qualifier

  • Date:
    • Group A: June 3 - 4
    • Group B: June 17 - 18
    • Finals: July 1 - July 2
  • Host: Paragon Competitive League
  • Registration Date: May 19
  • Registration Closes: May 31
  • Participants must be 18 years or older.
  • Participants not in the US must have an international passport valid until at least February 2018.
  • All participants must be citizens of a country in North America.

North American Qualifier Prizes

  • 1st Place
    • Qualify for Exhibition Tournament
    • $2500 ($500 per player)
    • Travel + accommodation to Exhibition Tournament
      • Team travel is restricted to the five players on each team. In the event that a team member cannot attend the event, the substitute player for that team will be eligible to participate.
  • 2nd Place
    • Qualify for Exhibition Tournament
    • Travel + accommodation to Exhibition Tournament
      • Team travel is restricted to the five players on each team. In the event that a team member cannot attend the event, the substitute player for that team will be eligible to participate.

Western European Qualifier

  • Dates:
    • Group A + B: May 27 - 28
    • Group C + D: June 10 - 11
    • Finals: June 24 - 25
  • Host: Gameaholix

  • Registration Closes: May 26
  • Participants must be 18 years or older.
  • Participants not in the US must have an international passport valid until at least February 2018.

This is our first of many active steps towards supporting a sustainable competitive foundation for Paragon. We have a lot of things to learn but as we look into a non-BETA future we strongly believe Paragon has all the right elements required to succeed as an Esport title. Ultimately, only you, the community, can make this happen but expect us to continue supporting the competitive scene either directly or through valued partners with larger events and initiatives.
