What we do
Our team builds online Social frameworks and features that support player experiences for internal games like Fortnite. In addition, we provide an SDK that exposes game services for third party game development teams all over the world. We passionately pursue features like social graphs, voice chat, and parties; and also work with matchmaking and player inventory systems, leaderboards, achievements, and more.
What you’ll do
As a member of our team, you can expect to contribute across a variety of online game features and hardware platforms, from desktop to console to mobile. You will partner closely with external and internal developers and SDK users, ensuring that the underlying systems we build are scalable and secure.
In this role, you will be responsible for
Working closely with art and design leads to ensure that UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements
Attending to every detail, especially with regard to compliance, layout, and design
Architecting, planning, and implementing new UI systems
Optimizing and fixing bugs in existing UI systems
Contributing ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development
Writing robust, maintainable code
Working collaboratively with the team to ensure that UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements
Working closely with artists, designers, and other programmers on cutting-edge features that support player experiences across Fortnite
What we’re looking for
Exceptional C++ programming skills
Strong problem-solving, logic, and troubleshooting skills.
Online service integration experience
An ability to architect system frameworks and tools
Experience with multithreading, asynchronous, and event-driven programming
Passion for building great user experiences and products that serve diverse use cases
Keen analytical mind and mature problem-solving skills
