What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a Business Development Manager, Games to join the Epic Korea team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for expanding Unreal Engine adoption into game industries, by leveraging his own network from the past as well as building new customer relationships with strong presentation skill, experience, and understanding of Unreal Engine. They will be the owner of the relationship on behalf of Epic in Korea and make sure the client's projects become successful with help from internal support resources.

In This Role You Will

  • Identifying strategic opportunities and cultivating new relationships with potential clients in the Game industry throughout Korea
  • Serving as a primary contact representing Epic Games Korea as well as an Unreal Engine evangelist for game clients and partners
  • Gathering the developers in need of training and guiding them to Unreal Engine training opportunities by working closely with the Developer relations team at Epic.
  • Managing the day to day requirements of Epic Games Unreal Engine licensing
  • Engaging in current and prospective licensees of Unreal Engine in Korea with the goal of increasing Unreal Engine's market share, discussing terms with internal BD team and obtaining pre-approval of all terms by the Territory Head before going to contract
  • Staying up-to-date on competitor products to assess competitive advantages of Unreal
  • Frequent travel within the territory to meet with licensees and potential licensees and some travel outside the territory to meet organizational goals will be required
  • Assisting Epic Games PR and Marketing teams on Unreal Engine public relations and marketing plans in Korea

What We're Looking For

  • Solid network with game companies in Korea
  • Proactive, outgoing personality that feels comfortable in a customer-facing role and maintaining a personable & approachable attitude at all times.
  • A passion for technology and evangelism
  • A desire to explore and expand our Gaming market
  • Strong English writing and speaking skills
  • Strong communication skills including presentation & negotiation.
  • Experience with public speaking, a plus
  • Producer experience managing a dev team, a plus.
  • High level of proficiency using and teaching Unreal Engine a plus

  • 업무수행에 충분한 영어구사 능력 (말하기, 쓰기)
  • 프리젠테이션 및 협상을 포함한, 업무수행에 충분한 의사소통능력

  • 공개장소에서의 강의/발표 경험
  • 게임 개발팀 관리 PD 경험
  • 언리얼 엔진 사용, 교육 경험 숙련자
