What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a Content Implementer, to convert new and existing assets and bring them into Fortnite. In this role, you’ll utilize your experience and knowledge of UE4 to help push the quality of the project and delight players with new and exciting content.

In This Role You Will

  • Prepare and convert content for ingame use, sometimes months in advance
  • Own the implementation step for assets in the game by creating and managing file structures, blueprints and setting up data assets
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, to help ensure assets look and function appropriately
  • Communicate to various disciplines regarding status and known issues with content
  • Aggressively seek ways to improve and automate the implementation process to make it faster and less error prone

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience with UE4
  • Detail oriented, QA mindset for content
  • Ability to communicate your ideas and collaborate with others
  • Understanding of how content dependencies work
  • Basic art knowledge, basic knowledge of various 2d & 3d applications, and how it relates to real time game art
  • Ability to learn new tools and processes quick

Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Experience with version control systems (Perforce)
  • Deep familiarity with Fortnite Battle Royale
  • Deep familiarity with Creative Mode
