What You'll Do
As a member of our team, Producers are central to our development team’s ongoing success. As a Senior Producer, you will play an integral part in our quest to make weird and wonderful, mass-multiplayer game experiences. Reporting to the Executive Producer, you will carefully balance your efforts between game delivery, setting the development team up for success, and being an advocate for the process.
In this role, you will
- You will drive production on cross-functional teams and lead multiple initiatives in
parallel - You will manage a backlog together with your teams; setting goals, planning sprints
or milestones and encouraging commitment. You will ensure these goals support the
overall project direction - Use project data and modelling to support effective decision-making, ensure
predictable delivery and do so at a sustainable pace - You will work to predict and remove roadblocks before they become an issue
- Report regularly and clearly to stakeholders, highlighting deviations and adjustments
to plans
What we're looking for
- Experience through all stages of development; comfortable in both the formative stages of a project through to effective live operation
- Excellent knowledge of production methodologies and frameworks, coupled with the ability to instil team-based ownership
- Proven ability to perform across multiple initiatives or projects and across multiple internal or external teams
- An excellent delegator; encouraging engagement, ownership, and accountability within mixed-discipline teams, and with more junior production team members
- Able to receive feedback openly & adjust leadership style and way of working
- A track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- 5+ years production experience in video games or comparable, mixed-disciplinary software projects, especially on a large console video game title
