What You'll Do

The IT Business Operations Manager is a unique role within IT responsible for facilitating the daily and long-term strategic lifecycle management of client and infrastructure hardware assets, software assets, and software licenses throughout the organization. This includes planning, acquiring, deployment, management, retirement, and disposition of hardware and software assets and contracts to ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and third-party requirements. 

In this role, you will

  • Provide leadership and guidance over IT Asset lifecycle for hardware and software, as well as design and execute asset management policies, procedures, and processes
  • Manage the ITAM platform (Flexera), supporting processes, and governance, as well as the ongoing roadmap of improvements and maturity over time
  • Engage with ITAM stakeholders/customers to understand their desired experience and provide a service that meets their needs
  • Identify, assess, and quantify risks related to ITAM, as well as facilitate and track the remediation of risks
  • Review and communicate analysis of software license and hardware contract compliance as needed for renewals and audits
  • Leads, teaches, coaches, and guides team members and provides feedback regularly 

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of IT Hardware and Software Asset Management experience in a large enterprise environment
  • Proven ability to develop, own and contribute to an ITAM/SAM roadmap and supporting initiatives
  • Proven ability to measure, monitor/audit, and report on the supporting processes, data, controls, and security of the IT assets
  • IAITAM CITAM, CHAMP, and/or CSAM Certification preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, can work independently, and set priorities
  • Familiarity with Agile work methodology

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
