Snoop, Eminem, Ice Spice & Juice WRLD Take Over Fortnite Battle Royale in Chapter 2 Remix

Snoop Dogg & Ice Spice took over Times Square tonight with a mic dropping performance streamed live in Fortnite, blending sound and visuals into a stunning takeover IRL and in-game. The event, dubbed Remix: The Prelude, kicks off the next Season of Fortnite Battle Royale, Chapter 2 Remix, launching tomorrow!

Chapter 2 Remix brings back the Chapter 2 Island, remixed and reimagined, with weekly location and loot drops inspired by the best of early Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 gameplay and some of the greatest music icons in history. In Chapter 2 Remix, Snoop D-O-double-G heads up the Agency, the rap god Eminem sets up shop in the Grotto, hip hop princess Ice Spice lays claim to Shark Island, and the remix hits the finale with a celebration and tribute to the legend and icon, Juice WRLD. Carmela Wallace, mother of Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins said, “Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others. Snoop Dogg enters Battle Royale on November 2 and is also the featured Icon for Season 6 of Fortnite Festival. He said, “Being part of Fortnite is all about creating, playing, and sharing my music and culture with the next generation. My son Cordell’s a big Fortnite player with me, so when we had the opportunity we jumped on it as a new way to connect with my sound and style. Anyone can be Snoop in Fortnite.”

Eminem reappears on November 7 following his Fortnite debut in December 2023. He said, “Guess who's back, ready for combat, man! I'm serving all new gear along with a side of spaghetti...come and get it! Feels good to return to Fortnite for more mayhem.”

Ice Spice arrives on November 14 and said, “Getting the chance to come to the game and remix the Chapter 2 map is unreal. It’s exciting to be a part of something so iconic, and I can’t wait for players to experience this new vibe. Fortnite is all about creativity and connection, and I’m hyped to bring my own spin to it!”
