Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Brings the Adventure to Fortnite

On August 16, Disney and Epic are connecting the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction to Disney’s new Smugglers Gambit island in Fortnite. For the first time, guests riding Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort can continue their adventure in a Fortnite island.
As a reward for riding, eligible players who link their MyDisney and Epic Games accounts get the Forsworn Trooper outfit in Fortnite. And their score on the ride becomes usable credits in Smugglers Gambit, to unlock gear and level up on the island. Any Fortnite player can get The Gambit 2D Loading Screen by completing a quest in Smugglers Gambit.
Park guests can accept a mission from Hondo Ohnaka in the Disneyland app or My Disney Experiences app before boarding, or in the Fortnite island, for a unique Smugglers Run ride experience. In the island, become a smuggler in the Outer Rim and take on quests across the planet, Ord Ryla.
Because Smugglers Run was built with Unreal Engine, the same foundation UEFN runs on — Disney Imagineers and Disney Digital Entertainment in-house developers were able to bring authentic assets and the same Lucasfilm craftsmanship from the ride directly into the Fortnite island.
