Playing with Uplay PC friends with an Epic Games store version of the game

Q: If I purchase my copy of The Division 2 on the Epic Games store, will I be able to play with my Uplay PC friends?
A: Yes. We need all active Division agents to join forces in order to save Washington D.C. from collapse!
You will still be able to invite other The Division 2 players from your friends list in-game whether you have purchased your game from the Epic Games store or any other distribution partner.

Free game offer for pre-purchasing The Division 2

Q: How do I get a free game?
A: You can receive one of three Ubisoft games for FREE by pre-purchasing The Division 2. Any player that already pre-purchased is also eligible and will receive an email with instructions on how to redeem.
Q: Which games are available for this offer?
A: The three titles that you will be able to choose from are Far Cry Primal, Watch Dogs 2, or Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Q: When will I receive the free game from this offer?
A: You will receive your free game on March 15.

Login and account linking

Q: How do I link my Epic Games and Uplay accounts?
A: After purchasing and installing any Edition of The Division 2 through the Epic Games Store, you will be prompted to link your Epic Games and Uplay accounts.
If you do not currently have a Uplay account, you can create one at this point.
Q: I’m being asked to sign in again after purchasing, but I’ve already linked my accounts during the Beta. Do I need to do this?
A: Yes. You will need to sign in to your Uplay account again to verify any new purchases or promotions that you have redeemed.
Q: When I try to link my accounts, it gets stuck at the “Verifying” step. How can I get this to work?
A: If the account linking process becomes stuck on “Verifying” or times out at this step, please try to clear your cache and cookies, then close and restart your web browser. If you are still experiencing this issue, please try setting your default browser to a different browser and attempting the linking process again.

Upgrading from Standard Edition to other Editions

Q: I already purchased The Division 2 Standard Edition. How do I upgrade to Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition?
A: In order to upgrade your purchase, please contact Epic Games Player Support to request a refund of your Standard Edition purchase. Once that has been refunded, you will be able to purchase the upgraded version.

The Division 2 Year 1 Season Pass

Q: How do I purchase the Year 1 Season Pass?
A: The Division 2 Year 1 Season Pass is available for purchase on the Season Pass page.
Q: If I already purchased the Gold or Ultimate Edition, do I still need to purchase the Year 1 Season Pass?
A: No. The Year 1 Season Pass is included with all purchases of The Division 2 Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition.
