UPDATE: S-A-C Creators who joined prior to November 30, 2020, and want to migrate their account to S-A-C 2.0 can get more info at our S-A-C 2.0 Migration blog post.

Creators, get ready! We’ve put the final touches on Support-A-Creator 2.0 and have opened the program for new applicants as of November 30. Over the next few months, we’ll also begin migrating existing Support-A-Creator members to the new system. Here’s a look at what you can expect.

What’s New in Support-A-Creator 2.0

The launch of Support-A-Creator comes with a host of improvements, including a refreshed dashboard, a new automated application process, and automated security/fraud checks for social and payment methods.

These improvements will reduce application approval time so that new Creators will be able to begin earning faster. Additionally, the age for program eligibility is now 13 years old in all countries except South Korea, which remains 14 years old.

The refresh also brings wider global payment processing support for Creators and additional country eligibility including Belarus, Central African Republic, Congo (DRC), Liberia, Libya, South Sudan, and Yemen.

New Creator Applications Reopen

Beginning November 30, prospective Creators can once again apply for program membership using a revamped application page. Anyone who has previously submitted a Support-A-Creator application that is either pending review or has not been approved will also need to re-apply on this date. Please review the eligibility requirements and rules here

Note: Creators that previously violated the Affiliate Agreement, which includes violations of the Support-A-Creator Code of Conduct, and were removed from the program will not be eligible to reapply or be reinstated.

How Creator Codes are Made and How You can Prepare

Once your Support-A-Creator 2.0 application is approved, your Creator Code will be automatically generated based on your current Epic Games display name. If your display name contains any special characters other than an underscore (_), dash (-) or dot (.), we’ll remove them and add randomly assigned numbers to the end of your new Creator Code (this is to make sure it is typeable and unique).

IMPORTANT: If you do not want a Creator Code based on your current Epic Games display name, please be sure to change your Epic Games display name to something that will work better for you as a Creator Code before you apply.
After your Creator Code has been generated, you will only be able to change it once during any 12-month period. Follow these instructions to request a Creator Code change.

Existing Creators

In the coming months, current Support-A-Creator members will need to migrate their accounts to Support-A-Creator 2.0. These Creators will receive notifications within the portal and via email when it is time to begin the migration process. Creators will then be asked to review the new Support-A-Creator Creator Agreement and provide updated social media, tax, and payment information. Alternatively, for those Creators who do not wish to upgrade to Support-A-Creator 2.0, there will be a separate process to receive a final payout (if one is due) and leave the program.

More Updates Coming

In the coming weeks and months, we will update this post with new details on what’s happening. Stay tuned for updates, and we look forward to seeing you in Support-A-Creator 2.0!
