jasonjm repliedUpon submitting the form on "https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtournament/forums/cdkey.php?2004", it throws a HTTP 500. Pretty sure that PHP script isn't running. Can we get this functional?

_Lynx repliedLooks like server CD-Key page didn't survive the forum upgrade, this is being looked into.

You can also play with the x64 patch and DX9 just the double damage shader has some blending problem (I don't know why) and you must use OpenAL64 (no EAX) (this is the fastest option FPS wise)
And you can play using the "DX8 to DX9 Converter" and the "ENBSeries for GTA 3" from here:
http://enbdev.com/download.htm
Just drop the d3d8.dll and the .INI from the first .ZIP; and the d3d9.dll and the .INI from the second .ZIP in the System folder
In the enbconvertor.ini we set:
Code:[GLOBAL] ENBSeriesSite1=

It's sad that MapRaider is abandoned, I've submitted some maps a long time ago and were never accepted, the admin stated there were some kind of problem in the submission form but never did anything and disappeared, the last submissions are from mid 2015, I did not try to contact him through IRC though
Anyway, I did some links recompilation long ago of sites that were still alive and it was pretty desolated back then:

This is known issue for lots of old games on Windows 10 that use DirectX. There are two workarounds for that.

Arnox_BU repliedOriginally posted by Carbon View PostNice update Arnox_BU.
Sorry to say my collection is not online, most importantly to this thread the UT2004 gameservers uz archive at over 160GB. Aside from that, I have 184 GB of UT2004 content and over 3000 maps in my personal installation.
While I don't have a listing to browse, if anyone needs a file, let me know and I'll see if I've got it.
Just make sure to put it up somewhere sometime or at least give it to someone reliable in the UT community, so if you decide to say bye-bye to UT in general, all that content isn't lost.

The rest I'll add a bit later.
Actually, I seriously did not expect my reply to be answered for quite some time. Thought this board was in the tubes mostly. lolLast edited by Arnox_BU; 12-20-2016, 09:41 AM.

Arnox_BU repliedThis needs updating kinda badly.
Unreal Playground needs to be added to the "Where to find custom content?" section. Unreal Playground has a lot more maps than Map Raider as well. I don't know though if Map Raider has some maps that Unreal Playground does not though (probably) so best to just leave that up and put Unreal Playground in next to it as a secondary resource. Also, put in the UT-Files page for UT2004, the ModDB page for UT2004, and the UT-Files .uz2 redirect/file repository. Some stuff that you find in the redirect, you will not ever find anywhere else. To download a file from the redirect, simply do "http://uz2.ut-files.com/" without quotes and then the full name of the file. So http://uz2.ut-files.com/kprin0101.utx.uz2 for example. Decompress with any UZ2 tool. Or UCC if you're feeling technical.
Secondly, please add these official, awesome, and free UnrealEd 3.0 tutorial videos to the "Where to find official files - patches, bonus packs, Unreal Script source code, dedicated server package?" section. I thought they were lost to time and you had to have the actual DVD with the videos on it that came with the Editor's Choice Edition or Special Edition of the game.Last edited by Arnox_BU; 12-20-2016, 09:18 AM.

_Lynx started a topic READ BEFORE POSTING: Most common questions and useful linksREAD BEFORE POSTING: Most common questions and useful links
Here's a list of answers to the most asked questions and some handy links for more information:
Game crashes when running in fullscreen on Windows 10
This is known issue for lots of old games on Windows 10 that use DirectX. There are two workarounds for that.
- Change a setting in D3D renderer
Open the game's config file, UT2004.ini (located in UT2004/System folder), in any text editor and search for "ReduceMouseLag". This line is present in several places in the file. The one you need is located in [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] section of the file:
Code:[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] DetailTextures=True HighDetailActors=True SuperHighDetailActors=True UsePrecaching=True UseTrilinear=True AdapterNumber=-1 ReduceMouseLag=True UseTripleBuffering=False UseHardwareTL=True
Code:ReduceMouseLag=False
- Run the game using OpenGL renderer
Open the game's config file, UT2004.ini (located in UT2004/System folder), in any text editor and scroll down to the [Engine.Engine] section, which should be in the near the beginning of the file.
You'll see a block of these line right at the start of the section
Code:RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice ;RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice ;RenderDevice=Engine.NullRenderDevice ;RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice ;RenderDevice=PixoDrv.PixoRenderDevice
Code:;RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice ;RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice ;RenderDevice=Engine.NullRenderDevice RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice ;RenderDevice=PixoDrv.PixoRenderDevice
Where to find official files - patches, bonus packs, Unreal Script source code, dedicated server package?
Patches and some of the bonuspacks can be found on UTZone.de.
Get the special server CD-key here: https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtour...cdkey.php?2004
You can also more than 150 hours of Video Training Modules (VTMs) videos from the 2nd DVD of UT2004 Collector's Edition on 3D Buzz website.
Where to find guides and tips for running a server?
The most complete source for these is UnrealAdmin page. Make sure to check their forums!
Where to find custom content?
Maps can be found on MapRaider.com. Mods, mappacks, and maps can be found on UTZone.de, ut2004.ut-files.com and UT2004 section of Unreal Playground
Installing custom content:
Mods, mutators, and maps sometimes have lots of types of content that have to be copied into the correct folders of the game depending on the file's extension:- .u - UT2004/System
- .upl - UT2004/System
- .ucl - UT2004/System
- .int - UT2004/System
- .ut2 - UT2004/Maps
- .usx - UT2004/StaticMeshes
- .utx - UT2004/Textures
- .ukx - UT2004/Animations
- .ka - UT2004/KarmaData
- .ogg - UT2004/Music
- .uax - UT2004/Sounds
Also there's a chance content is distributed as ut4mod. If the installation fails, use UT2kx RegCheck tool to fix the game's file associations: http://www.utzone.de/forum/downloads...o=file&id=3465
Where to buy:
- On Steam as a separate game or a part of Unreal Deal Pack.
- On GoG.comTags: None
- Stuck
- Change a setting in D3D renderer
