    [CONCEPT ART] Zaibot's Characters Designs

    Hello everyone, This are some concepts that I made ​​thinking in the new UT. For now I tried to include some of my favorites factions: Iron Guard, TheCorrupt, Thunder Crash and Juggernaut. Comments and suggestions are welcome cheers!

      Well they need to be highly visible, and the LEDs can be a solution.

          Emissive lights have been a staple of UT characters for a long time, and yes they do look good. It is more some aspect of the designs that seem unusual, though I myself am into the retro-futuristic look, it's something about the proportions etc that feels off on some of them I guess. I do like the bot with the red glow hitting his head. I mean they all have potential. Surprised you haven't gotten more feedback on it to help you.

            Yeah I think Henrik is right, looking at these it just seems as though the lower legs are too short and the bodies are alittle bit too long. Im not sure on the styling either, the designs themselves are actually pretty decent and I also agree that the silver robot looks pretty cool, I do like the chick in the armour there too but her boob armour should possibly hold her boobs not conform to them

              I think I realized what it is. Most of the forms feel very feminine. Both in their pose and hourglass shape. Which might work for some characters, mind you, but certainly not the bulk of them.

                Yeah, It's true some of them have very narrow waist. But about if the pose can be feminine or not, I think that is something more subjective, anyways thanks for the advice I will take in mind.

                  The legs including thighs and hips are just too big. Remember male proportions are more V shaped. These thighs are as wide as the shoulders... which is MUCH too wide.

                    Admitted the new character has style even with his leds.
                    Maybe only the leds in UT3 looked bad because they were
                    new and not stylish enough (XanMkII). On the other hand
                    if they are place like jewelery like on the wh40k eldars also
                    round shapes gonna amaze.

                            Eh, I'm not exactly a huge fan of the slick futuristic look for the armor for Thunder Crash 2 since I kinda prefer the more traditional look of the armor from the first three games. I would just save it for a different team. The other Thunder Crash concept art looks a little more fitting, though.

                              There's too much gray in most of the designs. In addition, the gray has very little variation throughout the body, so they look sort of bland and boring. Everyone also looks like robots with the armor as well.
