    Yup. Spoiler in back of the head, characteristic visor and flat top of the head are neccessary design elements for robot being recognized as Xan.

      and by the way.. This is unreal .. an alive Alien like this want be really nice ..
      also in the Game Unreal Remake what's now at moment in Developement
      as extra Avatar, you have made the point , this is the right :

      because, by side, was in beta also dragons on it.., was removed
      at Offizial Release of Unreal .. this is because it fit's totally by side of Warlords and Nali.

          More on topic, allow me to inject some annoying Unreal lore. :P

          - Is Xan a human in a suit? A robot? Or a human brain in a robot body? Or all of the above depending on where you are in the history? Nobody actually knows. In order to preserve that mystery, it might make for some interesting design choices.

          - There is a distinction between Automatons and Cybernectic beings in the Unreal universe. Automatons are robots, 100% mechanical. Cybernetic creatures are a mixture of living flesh and robot parts. There are also hybrids, such as the Skaarj/Human hybrid, and even cybernetic hybrids, which get... strange.

            Entropy, noo, it's well, talk about.. was Xan not AnDroid
            ("without Soul and certain ones, rules only" who was in the First Tournament's for point out to be an Admin.. )
            or for the Admin / RootAdmin / Mod... for hold the "master rank" apart ?

                Liking that concept Shraznar. The silhouette and proportions are really good.

                Personally I believe that Xan is part person/part machine, whereas the rest of The Corrupt are strictly bots. "Combat modified versions of the Liandri Mining Corporation's worldclass security drones."

                "A number of maps in the games are described to be property of Xan Kriegor. These maps are:
                AS-Rook (UT)
                DM-HyperBlast (UT), the game's final level where Xan features as the boss
                DM-HyperBlast2 (UT2004)
                DM-Tempest (UT)"


                If this is the case, then Xan is most likely someone from Liandri who was able to "Robocop" themselves into a badass war machine.

                And obviously someone who doesn't like humans. See LBX-7683 Robot Uprising. It doesn't necessarily say that Xan was a bot, he just lead the revolt. "Most robots were put into a statis matrix. Xan resisted, but Liandri eventually managed to wipe his memory." Again, I'm thinking a similar story to Robocop.

                  I think turning our heads on some of UT200X's canon would be okay to maintain the aura and cult of personality that Xan carries. Knowing that your "final and ultimate adversary" is no more than a machine makes them seem relate-able and beatable.

                  I like the designs as robots, OP, with the exception of Xan for reasons mentioned. Otherwise, I'd avoid "birthing hips" and tiny torsos for the "male" bots.

                    These seem more fitting for Blood Fist, the robot team in UT2.

                    The male/female robots should have roughly the same height and proportions. Can't have people missing their headshots because half the robots are too short. :P

                            Brilliant, easily best xan concept on the forums! Let me notice that the head's side view profile is too flat. Give it more human shape and it's done. Make it official plz!

                              @Unreal Galdiator/Maask: I know how it can be a problem, something getting caught in the spoiler would be bad. Even UT2004's Xan has a functional gap in it, but it looks so cool this way.

                              update on the previous post, half his body drawn with/without armor. and a more slick head, this one can have a gapped wing. Also that palte behind his neck can be offed, looking up would be a problem.

                                This is looking really nice. I'm going to start mocking this up in 3d if you're ok with it.

                                From a design point, the previous version had some better shapes. Looks like forms that are combat+mech heavy are more appealing for Xan I think. I might experiment a bit by using Outpost23 as some reference to detail and color value as it is the same company that put together the bots and Xan. Some similar designs would work well imo.
