When you start cooking, keep an eye on your available ram. I had 8GB of RAM so i set my pagefile on my PC to zero, figured I would never need it or want to use it. Well even a simple map will use more than 8GB when cooking. I have 16GB of ram now and when cooking a map I easily see over 14GB of RAM used. If you run out of RAM/Pagefile while cooking it will fail.

It might also be a anti-virus software. Make sure you disable it before packing the map!

usually this is fixed by packaging a blank map which will package correctly then go back to original map and it should package correctly
