    It might be taboo subject that long time ago Fortnite Battle Royale(circa Anno Domini of year 2017) american forum(not in case of polish forum) moved to Reddit,but will Unreal Tournament 4 be moved to Unreal Engine 5 at least by UT4 community unofficially? Will FBR gonna be somehow unofficially modable? Epic CCP Tencent Games Epic Games Launcher/Store shouldn't be anti-consumer shady marketing practises. I heard they are lawsuiting people for using aimbots. It seems Epic Games don't care about Unreal Tournament series,Jazz Jackrabbit series at all. Just only saying no offense guys. It's not my fault that FBR is still so popular genre such as online moba,rts,isometric mmorpg genres worldwidePC,modern mobile(cringefest).

    Hello,
    I am using this converter for the first time and I am getting the issue where no Textures, Meshes, or Sounds are created.
    The converted folder only contains the .t3d file. I have tried 20 different UT2004 maps to convert and always the same thing
    I am using UT4X 1.0.1 and the latest umodel (2021-02-18)
    Any tips that will help get all the files created successfully?

    best is to look carefully the video about "(UT3->UT4 full conversion video tutorial (DM-Morbias))", you find the link post 1 of the current thread. There are some slight difference with the current version, but no real difficulties.

    Hello

    I had to reinstall all my UTs and tools. Since I don't use your tool often, each time I forget how to use it. I'm surprise to see there is no guide or step by step explanation to use the tool correctly It's completely useless if I don't know the steps. I know how to setup the tool but not how to use the converted files.

    Your OP doesn't have any info neither so I'm completely loss. Help plz

    I recovered the textures, sounds and meshes files for
    DM-morbias (UT3) and DM-sanctuary (UT3),
    DM-junkyard (UT2004)
    DM-phobos (UT99)
    SPMR-08-CoolFusion-UT99 Bungie Marathon converions of UT99

    For a UDK to UT4
    The conversion of DM-Deck and VCTF-Necropolis have failed, no or only a very few actors have been identified and conversion directories remain empty (only a log and t3d file are present)

    Apart the small problem related to the size of the terrains (DM-sanctuary) and the issues for a UDK to UT4 conversion everything seems to work well

    In all cases in the converted folder I had only the log file and 2 .t3f files for 1.0.1 and 1 .t3d file for 0.9.5.

    In earlier tests this was somekind random !!! Before using 1.0.x version I never had this issue
    Ty for reporting these potential issues and detailled info.
    As for UModel you need to have a recent version (at least from 2019 as far as i remember since the export log format changed - which is parsed by UT4X converter).
    I need to add some additional checks within UT4X to make sure umodel version is right and alert user umodel version is not compatible.
    Maybe the export format of umodel changed again, haven't tested with latest umodel version yet.

    As for the multi-drive issue i may have a look at it when i'll have some time.

    I made some tests with 1.0.1 to give some feedback.

    It's clearly faster. Nice improvement.

    But I had some issues
    .
    - All conversion I made finished with a C:\Users\...Documents\UT4X-Converter\Converted containing only the log and a levelname.t3D file.

    - When changing umodel.exe from umodel_win32 (2020-08-17) to umodel_win32 (2018-09-15), the behavior is not the same and with umodel_win32 (2020-08-17) the converter freeze.



    Any ideas ?

    The install process is quite different but I can see that the configuration is the same. The interface look more modern, at least, it's my impression
