    Mateiral Question

I'm getting the hang of exporting meshes from C4D and getting them into UE4. One issue I'm having is texture/material scale. When you apply a material to a static mesh, is there any way to adjust the scale of the material (how many tiles) or is that predetermined in the outside 3D app?

There is a node called "TextureCoordinate". You can use it to define the U and V scaling of a texture. It's often used if you have texture-sizes like 4096x1024 for example. Maybe this will help you.

It is determined by the UV mapping in your 3D modeling program. You can of course change the scale of the material in the editor, but that then applies to every mesh that uses that material so it's not really the "proper" method.

        Thanks. That all makes sense.
