    How does water work in UT?

    So I see there's the volumetric water, which I've added to a level and plopped where I want there to be water, but how does one get it to appear with a texture? Right now I have zero way to tell it's there until I'm knee-deep in it and then only because of the sound. How do people put in water and get it to successfully work?

    The water volume is simply for physics. You still need to create a plane with a water texture at the water height.

      The best way to figure this out is to open an epic map that already has water in it.

        Where can I found a good water example?
        The one in the Example_map doesn't have any effect when projectiles hit the water. And there is no sound when the player enters/walks in water.
