    TeleportTarget rotation?

Probably this is really easy, but for some reason the BP_Teleporter_New blueprint refuses to accept the direction/rotation of its Teleport Target?
This is just a one way teleporter for myself. I have SetRotation on by default but it just doesn't seem to work.

If anyone knows how to fix that it would be very useful! Thanks.

The reason for this is the rotation of the player is handled very differently than other pawns. Your rotation angle is handled completely client side and the value is stored on the player controller rather than the pawn.

So it seems for years this problem has persisted with teleports in many different UT games. I really cannot fathom the concept of teleports that dont rotate the player. But its a thing apparently.

Ah. So I assume there will be some sort of workaround, considering teleporters are almost useless in some maps without this function. Thanks for the info Castle.

I'm not having this problem! ... I just bring in the BP_Teleporter_New, pull it up above the ground and hit the "end" key to snap it to the ground, position it where I want the teleporter "entrance" at then hit the space bar to change the widget to rotation, rotate the blue arrow to the direction I'm entering the teleporter in! ... then I click on the "Target" and position the "exit" point I want and make sure it's at lease 100 above the ground and hit the space bar and bring up the rotation widget and rotate the blue arrow to the direction you want to be facing when exiting your teleorter!

I've used 5 in the last 2 maps I'm working on currently!

Yeah I know it works, kind of.. but if you enter at any other angle than what you've set you get varying results.
