    Map: DM - Sulphuris

    Started working on this map. It was one of my favorites for just messing around with friends. I will update this tread as I work on recreating the map.

    May need help creating some of the assets if epic doesn't release any.

    Edit: 13.5.14 @2:56pm: Updated the gallery. Moved onto basic lighting.
    Edit: 15.5.14 @6:34pm: Did not update gallery. Basic Lighting is done. Moving on to cleaning up the shapes.

    To do list:
    1) Finish lighting.
    2) Clean up shapes.
    3) Add nav mesh for bots

    Looks awesome! I dont know the map you base this on but i welcome it!

    Can i just ask, how hard is it to make this! I want to join in on the map making but i have 0 experience with such things.

      Its from UT 2004. Its one of the smaller maps.

      I mean it takes time and a bit of guess work. I normally program in c++, but I just have memories on this map.

          I totally hate maps you can fall from but this one looks cool. :P

          I can make some easy low poly models for you in Blender if you want.

              This was easily one of my favorite maps from 2k4. I love maps that have a strong vertical element, and with all of the crisscrossing ramps and platforms, it just has so much dimension. Really looking forward to this one.

                I am slowly getting the lighting together and adding some minor things to make it look more structurally feasible.

                          Its smaller in some ways than the original, but, I think it will still be good for a 4 person map.

                              That's good to hear, I think the 2k4 version was a bit overscaled, even for 2k4's movement.

                              I haven't tested the new UT's movement myself, but judging from those pics, I think the z-axis should be heavier (increase vertical distance between platforms).
