    TSD-Dropoff

    Working on a Team Showdown map called Dropoff. Still early days but I thought I'd post my progress and build notes here to keep track of my changes.

    Early blockout, this main area is 3 split levels that have fast movement around the outside and more caution towards the centre.
    This creates flanking possibilities and attack variations for runners around the outside, and shooters in the centre.
    Item placement appropriate to that description.
    Top level will be spawn areas for players.
    Difficult to get back up to top or middle levels for now.

    To do:
    Bottom level is only about 10% done.
    Centre area on top level is about 50% done.

    Once these are completed, I'll place items and test. After this area is mostly blocked out, I'll start expanding and exploring "team areas" that will be places of defence that give teams a short time to think of an attack. Basically other spawn areas.

    Blockout version 1.0 completed and ready for play testing. Feedback appreciated.

    Originally designed for Showdown. 3v3 testing if possible.

      Bot paths updated.
      New Shock spawn area and map fixes.
      More health pickups.

        Further Shock area extension
        More ammo placement
        Updated health areas
        Bot paths and older geometry fixes
        Minor map flow adjustment
        Basic lighting and background placeholders

        Next couple weeks will be testing and tweaks

          Geometry fixes
          Particular areas closed off to extend match time (average bot fight is now roughly 1 min)
          Path fixes
          Weapon changes
