    Map : DM-HyperBlast (remake)

    15th August
    Hopefully soon I can get some multiplayer testing and feedback, for now I'm just testing the latest commit / movement etc..







    (8th August)


    Main mesh half complete, extra detail will be added later.
    Starfield will be more dynamic soon (flying through a galaxy with varying star density, nebula, maybe asteroid fields)



    (1st August)

    Major rescale of the entire map and replaced the default material with some basic temporary materials.



    (14th June)



    Clean and angular geometry

    It would be incredibly awesome if during the match Hyperblast approached a planet, then hit the atmosphere which made the gravity go nuts, then crashed into the planet.

      I've been thinking of all kinds of possibilities, will have to play around with it and see what I can do

        Almost got choked up watching this sneh! The "crashed" version is pretty wild too. I know it's a long way off, but I can't wait to see a final of this with high res textures and a beautiful skybox. I wouldn't spend time on a space/stars material since I think Epic will probably provide a good base version.

                    Great work! Im dont know what you plan to do with this map from here . Its a great likeness of the original map. Perhaps a little dark? I dont know. I do hope remakes of any previous maps really show the potential of the new engine and dont just look the same as they did in the original engine. Add some bells and whistles (detailed textures, lighting, etc.) and Im sold.

                          I scaled it larger so that it works better with what I have (the scale and movement of the official game isn't set, so I'm flying blind on that..)

                          It began at the correct scale (equivalent), but it was.. not playable. It's something I can tweak later, but I doubt it will ever be quite the same for it to 'feel' right

                            Looks amazing .

                            Some little fedback from me. Light have too much contrast. Make map a bit lighter and desaturate a bit those oranges .
