    [PROTOTYPE] DM-TokaraSwamp

    Heyas, would love to see some fun on this - DM-TokaraSwamp. It plays ok, would like your suggestions as to where to take it.

    It's kind of basically meshed, I tend to make it as nice looking as I can as I go, even when the layout isn't finished.

    An experimental vertical map. Jump between platforms looking out for the opponent. Hitscan heavy, suspenseful.

    Have been working to turn it into less of a snipe fest. Input on making it more fun welcome.

    If it proves fun I'll turn the concept into something more interesting in a follow up.

        Added video and download for e4:

        Changes:

        - Lower level layout changes (less dead ends and unclimable rocks)
        - lighting improvements (less bright and less dark, less blue for team games)
        - replaced walkways with platform meshes.

          Tokara Swamp e5

          Updated the download and redirect above.

          It's been a few days and I've got this map to a point where I think people will enjoy it without getting too frustrated at the frayed ends, so I'll probably leave it here for a bit and wait for more feedback and replays.

          Changed:
          - added more obstacles between top level platforms
          - Tweaked lighting (not much)
          - tweaked weapon, armor spawn arrangement slightly
          - replaced trees with the "desktop" versions which have better polys (was using mobile which had square trunks).

                      h8 changes -

                      map flow is almost the same aside from health and ammo location changes and a few things shifted around.

                      However the whole map has been turned back into more or less a shell for the last design stretch.

                      More or less a shell because it is BSP but with atmospheric lighting and the same tree props (nothing else as convenient in bsp).

                      starting to like my map.
