Yeah, totally! Actually I have quake3/reflex mapping background. I kind of want to make tight fun map with big focus on movement.




Here's more screenshots with polished layout and uniform grid material applied.




My theme will be sci-fi station with art similar to this (this is my UE4 project I'm finishing right now)
I use a few tiling materials and custom normals technique with no bake at all (additional details with deferred mesh decals). That should give me opportunity to bring a lot of custom art and keep map size small (way under 100mb).
And it will be pretty readable with not much noise I assume.

But I need to playtest it before an art pass and I can't find people to play on this map with me.

nice pics and nice project on ue4 man! one tip for your ..resize all relevant textures ( walls ..floors ..sky ..terrains ..etc..all large props ) for 1024p ..this is result in low size file pack and beauty visuals ( not loss quality)

Version 2 released.
- Converted pits to zero gravity pools
- Changed items placements
- Layout changes
- Trap room now closes after 1.5 seconds delay and warns with red light
- Few ambient sounds added

Thanks for the V2 Peter Gubin! Reloaded onto the LPA.
You may want to look into the botnavigation on the map, it's not on.

DutchSmoke, please redownload map. I screwed the build by using sublevels. Fixed and reuploaded new build that actually works. Sorry!

Seen-after playing a round on it, it loads two versions, meshing/audio . BiGUp for the fix!
Reloaded & locked.

Incase you missed it, you can check the replays of your works via the Ingame/Watch/Recent Replays or alternately those on your friends list.

Updated the map to version 4.
- Trap button cooldown increased to 20 seconds
- Added navmesh for bots
- Added teleport in the center of the pool
- Switched rocket launcher and armor positions
- Added jump pad to sniper rifle
- Made lifts near trap button faster so you can lift jump to upper area
- Some layout and item adjustments
