[WIP] General Work in Progress Thread

I kinda miss a general WIP-Thread here. There's one in every level-design-forum I know ... so I'll start another one here. I hope it's okay with the rules.

So ... post everything that is too far away from done. See this as an opportunity to get feedback on stuff that's not worth opening a separate thread for.

I'm working on a remake of DM-Ithaqua right now (dunno when this was first released, ...http://www.mapraider.com/maps/unreal...29/DM-Ithaqua][). I finished half the layout by now. Still don't know what I'll do with it once the layout is finished.

Good idea Milb. I've added the link on top of my map list thread.

A bummer that the screenshots on mapraider are such low quality. Quite interested in what you will produce. It's looking real fine already. The top view is very coherent, a delight to look at.

I searched for screenshots of Ithaqua the last days, but I couldn't find any. There is just one I posted on my blog. I still like the feel of it, though I'am not sure if this is the direction I want to go with the UT4 version. http://milbenplage.blogspot.de/p/maps.html

I really like this transparant walkway a lot. Although I'm not sure that is from Ithaqua.

Ahh yeah by "General Work in Progress" ...you mean the topic to show progress on stuff that will never be released?

@BloodK1nG: That's what this is all about. You got me ...

No ... it's about progress that is not worth opening a thread. Something like this: https://forums.beyondunreal.com/thre...74527/page-100

@ChA1NsAw: This screenshot is from Epitow (my third map at all). This is Ithaqua: http://test.milb-maps.net/blogspot/pics/ithaqua001.jpg

These are some various screenshots from different shells I've started while at home on the weekends and stuff. Some of them are maps I gave up on for different reasons and some are ones that hopefully I'll get back to at some point when I have time. First screenshot is actually an early look at DM-Chill when I first started it, you can probably notice some of the differences!

@Cha1NsAw: I like the looks of this one. Is this going to be implemented in DM-Amigara?

@CaSCaDe: Looks like this is going to be a big map. I'd like to see some Z-Axis, but it's a good start!

@[Epic]stuman: I really like the screenshots of the map with this orange lit pit! Also, the last three screenshots look good to me. Any chances to play this map someday?

Yesterday I checked the UT3-WIP-Thread over at UnrealED.de and found some screenshots of DM-Ith (I did this map for HOLPĀ³). I still like the simplicity of the Brushwork and the layout of the map. Wonder if I should do a UT4 Version of it ... see attachments.
