    [PROTOTYPE] Dm-campgrounds intel

    Hello !

    Campgrounds (Intel Version)

    Big thanks to id software LLC, ZeniMax Media Inc and SyncError (Quakelive produceur)

    - Custom armor system by Flikswich (thanks a lot): Stackable, respwan 25s
    - Keg O'health respawn 35s

    Alpha V1:
    Early version of extact same shape than ql version but with bad lighting and almost no details, no bot paths, no footsteps.

    Alpha
    V2:
    -Add Bots navigation
    -Add Footsteps sound (hum...)
    -Add Blue lights lines in middle

    -Change GA color to green (+25 armor)
    -Change weapons location: Shock to Sniper, Link to Shock, Minigun to Ling and GA FLak to Minigun

      wow - nice work!
      you nailed it!

      maybe u can tweak bridge-to-rail a little more - so it is even more difficult to hit it...

      from a graphical point-of-view I'd love to see it textured like DM-Lea - maybe u can ask cpt. migraine for permission...

      keep it up!

      can u add bot-paths?

          bots are moving but not very intelligent at the moment - but that is fine...

          could you please comment on this?

            We really don't need that much stuff thats distracting.. lea is too dark if you ask me, ut2004 version was much better.

            Simple wall textures and some details would be nice, nothing that distracts you from playing!

              Hello!

              dWLkR is a good idee, I ask to captain Migraine if he going to share his meshes but he don't answer ATM.
              I don't have plan for the graphic design now. Lea is good so maybe. but now I need to release new version this week

              -Better (little) lighting
              -More details.
              -Better jumppad base (more big)
              -staires instade of ramps
              -1 Better spawn locations
              -Maybe Bright skin if can finish my BP

                did u check out the latest version of lea (incl. in the latest official build)? it is way brighter...
                ofc everything is a matter of taste! - imho lea is the perfect example how (my) UT4 should look like!

                    the bots are now way better than before - well done!

                    looking forward to new releases - would love to see a 4v4 tdm match on youtube...

                      im gonna puke if i have to play this map one more time. no offense for OP, but playing rankin and campgrounds again will be pure boredom..

                        I'm going to realese 1 more BSP update. Bsp almost eat all my 8 GO ram and after I'm going to put some static meches.

                        Peterk, I can understand: 15 years playing on campgrounds is long but if you don't like it don't play it

                          consider that the community won't exist purely of old ut players. therefore, i think it its totally fine if old great maps get revamped for the new ut (even though im personally not a huge fan of dm6 in ut)

                            I tested the map today, the scale is perfect! Only 1 thing that bugged me was in middle where big jump is you can hang from wall, on left or right side.
                            After you add some static meshes, make sure you add blocking volumes in there!
                            Also jump from bridge to sniper rifle is very good, i really like how you did the map! Can't wait for new update

                              Thinking about share my campgrounds.umap for anybody can upgrade my map. Is imo more UT mind style. What do you think?
