    UnrealTournament.exe incompatible with 64-bit windows (16-Bit Application)

    Hi all!

I am trying to compile Unreal Tournament 4 myself, so I can try to make modifications to it.

Unfortunately, after following all the steps on these pages: (the tutorials actually seem incomplete, or outdated)
    https://github.com/epicgames/unrealtournament
    https://wiki.unrealengine.com/Gettin...ditor_and_Game

and selecting "Launch" from within the editor, I am getting this error:

On my blog I have explained the steps taken: http://www.fancyaddress.com/blog/c/c...github-source/

Please tell me if I have missed any important steps, and explain how to fix this error.

    Thanks!

We don't support Launch from the editor right now. It does not support our non-monolithic staging method used for UT plugins.

You can run a game instance from the editor exe like so "ue4editor.exe unrealtournament -game" or by changing your "Command Argument" properties of the UnrealTournament project to "unrealtournament -game".Click image for larger version

Maybe someone should edit the tutorial to include a note on this.
